The tool I built to answer my own question: can I confidently retire?
When my 9-to-5 ended sooner than I'd planned, I wasn't sure I could confidently retire. It took me months to understand not just my living expenses and net worth, but whether all of that translated into how much I could actually spend, without worrying about running out of money. My focus shifted from "how do I grow my career and income" to "how much can I confidently spend today, and how can I make the most of it?"
I'd spent 20+ years as a software and data engineer, so I started with a spreadsheet. It got complicated fast, and no existing tool pulled everything into a plan for funding my income in retirement. So I built one.
That became Lumifin. It's how I retired confidently myself, and it funds the life I'm living as I build it into a business to help others do the same.
